Ipratropium

What is Ipratropium?

Ipratropium is an anticholinergic drug with similar effects to atropine, but since it is poorly absorbed into the blood, it has few side effects (such as tachycardia) at therapeutic doses. It is available as an inhalant or a nasal spray. It is also used for the reduction of secretions in the lungs.
