What is Colestipol?

Colestipol is a cholesterol-lowering drug. It is used as an adjunct in the management of primary hypercholesterolemia; regression of arteriolosclerosis; relief of pruritus associated with elevated levels of bile acids; and possibly to decrease plasma half-life of digoxin in cases of toxicity.
