Pyloric stenosis

What is pyloric stenosis?

Pyloric stenosis occurs in the stomach, it is the narrowing of the pylorus. It is the lower part of the stomach that leads into the small intestine. The muscles of the pylorus are thickened and can prevent the stomach from emptying into the small intestine. A common symptom is vomiting.
