What is ovarian torsion?
Ovarian torsion occurs when the ovary becomes twisted. Some causes of ovarian torsion may be related to an ovarian cyst, certain medications, pelvic surgery and pregnancy. Some symptoms include, lower abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.
