A Nabothian cyst is a mucus filled sac on the cervix. It may be occur following minor trauma or childbirth. A Nabothian cyst usually does not cause any symptoms and usually does not need treatment. If the cyst is large and causes discomfort, it can be removed with a minor procedure.
