What is Nilotinib?

Nilotinib, brand name Tasigna®, is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used in treatment of CML that is refractory or intolerant to prior therapy, including imatinib. It may also be used to treat Ph+ALL, systemic mastocytosis and hypereosinophilic syndrome. It is taken orally usually twice a day.
