What is Amiloride?
CATEGORY:
Amiloride counteracts potassium loss induced by other diuretics in the treatment of hypertension and conditions such as congestive heart failure and hepatic cirrhosis. It is usually used in conjunction with more potent diuretics such as thiazides or loop diuretics.
