Timolol is an ophthalmic agent and non-selective beta blocker. Eye drops are used for the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure such as glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Oral dosing is used for hypertension and angina; to reduce mortality following heart attack; and to prevent migraine.
