What is low cd4 count?
Low CD4+ T-cell counts (CD4 counts) are associated with a variety of conditions, usually viral infections. The CD4+ count is an important marker in monitoring HIV/AIDs. A decrease is CD4+ counts usually indicates that the disease is progressing and leaves the patient vulnerable to infections.
