What is crawling sensation in skin?
Paresthesia is a sensation of tingling, pricking, crawling or numbness of the skin. It is more generally known as the feeling of "pins and needles" or of a limb being "asleep". Depending upon the underlying cause paresthesia may be transient or chronic.
