Trisomy 18 is a genetic disorder in which a person is born with a third copy of material from chromosome 18, instead of the usual two copies. This genetic defect is is characterized by heart defects, kidney problems, gastrointestinal abnormalities, rocker bottom feet, and delayed growth.
