What is thrombocytopathy?
Thrombocytopathy is any of several blood disorders characterized by dysfunctional platelets (thrombocytes), which result in prolonged bleeding time, defective clot formation, and a tendency to hemorrhage. Thrombocytopathy may be congenital or acquired.
