What is telogen effluvium?

Telogen Effluvium is a form of non-scarring hair loss that results from an abnormal shift of follicular cycling. Less than 50% of hair loss occurs. Management typically includes removal of an underlying cause, psychosocial support, and cosmetic measures. Hair transplantation is not recommended.
