What is parcopresis?

Parcopresis is a name coined to represent psychogenic fecal retention which is the inability to defecate when other people are perceived or likely to be around (e.g. in the same public toilet, the same house or the same building). The analogous condition that affects urination is paruresis.

How do members experience parcopresis?
