What is nasal polyps?
Nasal polyps are painless non-cancerous growths in the nasal passages or sinuses and are associated with chronic inflammation of the sinuses. Large polyps can cause nasal congestion, loss of sense of smell, and increase risk for infection. Treatment includes nasal steroids and sometimes surgery.
