Cryptorchidism

What is cryptorchidism?

Cryptorchidism refers to the absence of one or both testes from the scrotum due to undescended testicles before birth. Though the problem usually resolves itself within the first few months of life, a surgery can be performed to relocate the testicles into the scrotum.
