What is central vertigo?

Central vertigo is a type of dizziness, where there is a feeling of motion when one is stationary, that arises from the balance centers of the brain. It is usually milder than vertigo that arises from the inner ear and may be accompanied by neurologic symptoms such as slurred speech, double vision.
