What is bicep rupture?

The biceps muscle is located in the front of upper arm; it is designed to bend the elbow, rotate the arm, and stabilize the shoulder. A tendon is the fibrous tissue that attaches muscle to bone. A bicep rupture occurs when a tendon or muscle is torn due to an injury to the upper arm.
