Around the PLM Community, there are many members who are known for educating and uplifting others through sharing their experiences. They know a lot about managing their health! These members love being on PatientsLikeMe and are interested in learning more about the PatientsLikeMe platform.
They are eager to share feedback and like trying out new features. PatientsLikeMe launched the Community Leaders program to recognize such members and give them the opportunity to help contribute to the PLM Community even further.
PatientsLikeMe Leaders Program Goal
To recognize outstanding PLM members and provide opportunities for them to come together to enhance the power of peer support in the PLM Community.
At PLM, we believe in the power of community to improve the lived experience of patients managing complex health conditions. Our purpose is to create a trusted digital platform that empowers patients to navigate their health journeys together through peer support, personalized health insights, tailored digital health services, and patient-friendly clinical education.
Our Program Values
Today, PatientsLikeMe is one of the world’s largest patient community and digital health management platforms. Its growing community of more than 850,000 members with over 2,800 conditions share personal stories and information about their health, symptoms, and treatments, with a goal to improve the lives of all patients through knowledge derived from shared real-world experiences and outcomes.

PatientsLikeMe Leaders Process
We are looking for active community members on PatientsLikeMe to join the Community Leaders program. You’ll be a great fit if:
- You have a lot of experience on your health journey and want to give back to others.
- You are interested in helping to shape the PLM community.
- You are frequently interacting with members on PLM and participate in events and challenges.
- You enjoy sharing feedback about new features, tools or content on PLM.

Why Join?

- Live conferences. Our team meets on Zoom with our Community Leaders frequently throughout the year to discuss activities and updates in the community.
- Exclusive sneak peeks of new PLM features. Community Leaders can access previews of new PLM updates ahead of time.
- Exclusive content. We’ll share exclusive content, challenges, events, and resources with our Leaders that you can’t get anywhere else on PLM.
