What is renal dysplasia?
Renal dysplasia is a condition in which the kidneys develop abnormally in a fetus, causing urine to collect in fluid filled sacs in the kidneys. If one kidney is affected, an individual can develop normally with no treatment. Otherwise, a transplant may be necessary with certain symptoms.
