What is conus medullaris syndrome?
Conus medullaris syndrome is a condition of the terminal end of the spinal cord, at the lower back/buttocks area from traumatic injury or from birth (congenital). This condition can cause pain and neurological deficits i.e. bowel/bladder dysfunction, loss of motor function, and numbness.
