What is Brown syndrome?
Brown syndrome is characterized as a mechanical problem with the outer eye muscle (superior oblique muscle/tendon) that does not move freely. The alignment of one eye may appear higher than the other. A common symptom is the decreased ability to look upward. In most cases only one eye is affected.
