Burkholderia cepacia complex (BCC), or simply Burkholderia cepacia is a group of Gram-negative bacteria composed of several different species of bacteria. B. cepacia often causes pneumonia in immunocompromised individuals with underlying lung disease (such Cystic Fibrosis or chronic granulomatous).
