Advice & Tips: be sure to get a water pill from doc if you experience swelling of hands and feet be sure to have a potassium pill so that you don't get cramps from the water pill

Advice & Tips: With these meds and eith depression/anxiety meds the efficacy and the side effects are usually very individual. Lyrica helps me and I would personally recommend trying it. If you do try it and it's not for you I would strongly warn-- as w/ the depression/anxiety meds-- wean off very slowly and try not to miss a dose. Withdrawal for these things can make you very sick. Also, it was pretty simple for me to receive the meds for free through drug co. assistance-- if you can't afford your meds there is help out there for a lot of them, thank God.

Advice & Tips: First time I took Lyrica for about 6 weeks & I had increasing edema in my legs/feet and hands, as well as some blurring of vision. The second time, I took one dose at bedtime and the next day experienced dizziness, slurred speech, mixed up words, etc.--chiroprator thought I was having a stroke. I have not taken any further doses.

Advice & Tips: this was a difficult medication to titrate down off of on account of it being in the anti-convulsant family of drugs. i got "nerve-tingles" and strange burning sensations in my nerves as well while i was titrating down. parts of me felt inflated like balloons as well, especially at night while i was drifting off to sleep (my head, hands/arms, feet/legs all felt abnormally large, yet sort of numb, but it was "all in my head", that is, my perception was all out of whack)....also, i had VERY strange and vivid dreams while trying to titrate down. it took me nearly 3 months to quit Lyrica completely.

Advice & Tips: Must be combined with Tramadol in order to work "Major". Lyrica made living with the pain bearable.
